Sue Larsen, Singer/Songwriter, Releases her First Pop Ballad, Which Balances the Delicate Line of a Relationship That Could Be or Maybe Not and Being Accepting of Either Outcome.

NORTH CASTLE, N.Y., Sept. 16, 2022 – – Bijoux Music Group LLC announced Sue Larsen’s next pop single, “Really Up To You” is being released today, under the Bijoux Music Group LLC label and produced by Sue Larsen. It can be found on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora, Deezer and all other streaming platforms. It is also available on Amazon and the iTunes Store for download as a mp3.

“Really Up To You” is about a relationship that could move forward or not based on the decision of the prospective partner. What makes this song different is that the person looking to pursue the relationship is accepting. They may be disappointed if it doesn’t work out the way they want, but they are OK with whatever happens. As Sue explains, “So often what someone calls “love” is really a self serving filling of needs. It is generally coming from a place of fear…fear of not being loved or being abandoned or not being enough and the “love” gets distorted even more when someone doesn’t get their way. I have heard, seen, and experienced so many stories of a “love” becoming retaliatory. Now, I ask you, what kind of love is that? True love or unconditional love…loves the same no matter what. No games, no histrionics, no withdrawal of that love. It doesn’t mean that person is a doormat or doesn’t have boundaries, it means they simply love and can walk away from an unhealthy relationship as needed.”

Sue Larsen is an independent artist who has been crafting songs for over forty years. She has recreated herself learning and doing the pieces of this “DIY” music business as an independent artist and she is hoping others may be inspired to change what they are doing or being after seeing her story.

Sue Larsen is out of North Castle, New York and has lived in Westchester County, N.Y., her entire life. She has been in the music business for 40 plus years as a performer/songwriter and she retired a couple of years ago from her human resource position so that she could learn what was needed in regards to this “new” DIY music business. She set up her own publishing and recording company, Bijoux Music Group LLC, and has a home studio. She has been her own producer and engineer for the recording, mixing, and mastering of her previously released songs and the track she just released. She also performed all the vocals and instrumentation on each song. Ms. Larsen also learned how to produce and edit the music videos for her songs.

Her second song,“Hardly Hiding”, a song about unexpected love, was featured on WHUD 100.7 FM along with an interview with host Andy Bale in 2021.
