ISEA Call for Entry INNOVATIONS 2024 – 33rd ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL OPEN JURIED EXHIBITION
International Society of Experimental Artists (ISEA)
INNOVATIONS 2024 WILL BE OPEN FOR ENTRY APRIL 1, 2024
ISEA is excited to announce our 33rd annual international open juried exhibition to be held at the stunning Central Park Place in Grand Haven, Michigan, ISEA’s partner for the 2024 exhibition and symposium. This premier artist opportunity will offer approximately $14,000 USD in awards.
Juror Mary Sundstrom
Mary Sundstrom is an artist, illustrator and art instructor. Her experience is wide-ranging – from art production (painting, sculptures, metalsmith) to curation, jurying, art advising and coordinating “call to artist” projects. Sundstrom obtained a BFA degree from the University of Wisconsin. She has completed graduate studies at Western Michigan University and Grand Valley University.
Currently, she serves as the Exhibitions Curator at Michigan’s Holland Area Arts Council. Here she designs exhibits and manages public art projects. She also pursues her own art practice and participates in exhibits around the state of Michigan.
The natural beauty of the Great Lakes is a strong influence and source of inspiration for Sundstrom. As a naturalist, she enjoys painting the creatures and plants living among the bayous that surround the Grand River near where she lives. Her playful artwork represents what she sees in the landscape. She also enjoys mushroom hunting.
