Steffi Nossen Dance Foundation Celebrates 80th Anniversary

Steffi Nossen Dance Foundation will celebrate its school’s 80th anniversary with a set of performances on March 30 & 31 that honor the legacy and future of the School. The two performances will offer a program that features newly choreographed works by the school’s top pre-professional ensembles, as well as commissioned premieres by established choreographers including Kathleen Kelley, Samuel Asher Kunzman and Indah Walsh. On Friday, March 31, a special performance by the Foundation’s Artistic Director Jessica DiMauro will present “Magic of The Stage,” which demonstrates how various lighting and sound effects can change the look of a performance. Attendance at these two events is free for clients of invited nonprofit agencies, including social service, rehabilitation and community organizations. Discounted prices are also available for students and seniors. A celebratory gala continues the festivities on the following night. All events take place at the Performing Arts Center at Purchase College. For more info, visit: steffinossen.org.
