Through June 16: Chroma Fine Art Gallery Presents Geometric Compositions
Chroma Fine Art Gallery presents its newest exhibition, Conlangs, which is centered around shared geometric framework of structure, geometry and precision. The works take differing approaches, but are in conversation with one another in terms of composition. The show features works by painter Robert Ayers, photographer Danny Delaney and sculptor Derek Uhlman. Gallery hours: Tues.-Sun. 11am-5pm.

Through September 19: Public Art in Rye Showcases Butterfly Sculptures
Rye Arts Center and The Rotary Club of Rye present Rye’sAbove, a public art installation of steel/aluminum butterfly sculptures. Each sculpture is designed by a regional artist and will be displayed throughout the summer before being auctioned off to benefit educational programming.

May 25: Historic Hudson Valley Presents the Pinkster Festival
Historic Hudson Valley will be hosting its annual Pinkster Festival – a day of events to celebrate the region’s African American history and culture with art, poetry, music, dance and storytelling. There will also be hands-on crafts, a food truck and more. From 11-5pm.

May 26: Paper Quilt Workshop at KinoSaito
KinoSaito will host a paper quilt workshop, at which guests will have the opportunity to use folded paper to create unique works in various patterns and designs. The workshop will be inspired by the work of Chie Fueki currently on display at the center. From 1-4pm.  

May 29: Dorothy Jackson Memorial Concert
Downtown Music at Grace presents The First Annual Dorothy Jackson Memorial Concert. This year’s memorial concert will be titled The Legacy of the Spiritual: Music of the African Diaspora. This concert will be the conclusion of Downtown Music at Grace’s 36th season and feature the Downtown Music Chorale and a pre-concert talk with the Artistic Director of Downtown Music, Timothy Lewis. Lewis will be placing the music into a historical context. From 12-1pm.

June 1: A Day Filled with Music Across the Rivertown Villages
RiverArts presents present’s the 9th annual RiverArts Music Tour. The tour features 300 musicians performing at 30 + venues across Hastings on Hudson, Dobbs Ferry, Irvington & Tarrytown. Local performers from across various genres including jazz, rock, folk, classical and more will be featured throughout the day. From 11-9pm.

June 2: Pride in Westchester
The LOFT: LGBTQ+ Community Center presents Westchester Pride 2024. The day will feature various events including a flag raising ceremony, pet parade and more. ArtsWestchester will also be hosting a conversation from 1-3pm with the Legendary House of Lanvin, a LGBTQ+ House Ballroom organization. The festival will span Court Street between Martine and Main as well as Renaissance Plaza in Downtown White Plains. From 12-5pm
