About the Museum:

Sing Sing Prison Museum is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization started in 2017, currently led by Brent D. Glass, Director Emeritus of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. The museum is set to open to the public in 2025 in Ossining, NY. The Museum will have two locations: an exhibition gallery in the historic Olive Opera House and the original Sing Sing Cellblock, built in 1825, that once contained 1,200 cells and was occupied until 1943. It is now an abandoned ruin.

The Sing Sing Prison Museum does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. We especially encourage applications from M/WBEs.
