Shop Local With Holiday Arts Boutiques
‘Tis the season to support the arts! With recent cuts on federal level and proposed cuts to the arts in the local county budget, shopping local is more important than ever. Luckily, historic estates, galleries, and bustling art centers across Westchester are hosting holiday arts boutiques this season. These markets, which feature African art, handmade pottery, works by regional artisans and more – and are sometimes paired with activities like ornament painting – make it possible to shop local, support the arts and soak in the holidays season all in one place.
