RiverArts Appoints Ecka Blaire Faulds as New Executive Director

RiverArts recently appointed Ecka Blaire Faulds as its new Executive Director, effective July 8. Faulds brings 15 years of experience in nonprofit arts and museum management to the organization. Her career has included positions at The Bruce Museum, Wave Hill and Hudson River Museum (HRM), where she was recognized for her innovative programming, such as HRM After Dark and Music Under the Dome.

Faulds says she is eager to support the Rivertowns’ vibrant artistic community: “I am thrilled to support the talented and diverse community of artists that make the Rivertowns an exciting destination,” Faulds stated.

Faulds’ responsibilities in her new role will include working with the Board, staff, and community partners to develop new programs. She and the RiverArts team aim to also expand existing programs and further promote community engagement.

Upcoming RiverArts events include its SummerArts camp beginning July 29; its annual dance concert, which will feature Paul Taylor Dance Company this year at Tarrytown Music Hall on September 28; and its Studio Tour on November 2-3.
