Rita Mathsen

I am a performer and lover of all types of music.  This experience makes me wish to pass on my knowledge to others with the same fire in their souls.  I have been a voice teacher in Westchester for the past 7 yrs. at the Music School of Westchester in Mamaroneck, NY.  In addition, I am now opening my own studio.  I teach all styles of singing.  I am also still an active performer.  I am "classified" as a mezzo-soprano in the opera world, but I am a cabaret singer, as well.  I also am available as a substitute organist and am familiar with most liturgical styles.
