Artist Statement
I create because I have to. My paintings are my journal to my life. It is how I get my thoughts and emotions out of my head. It is how I express how I feel with what is going on with me or in the world. I am inspired by everything from taking a shower to walking down the street. My process is just thinking, an idea could pop into my head, I write it down so I will not forget and then I go home and paint it. Its that simple.
