Artist Statement

My primary media is collage. I draw and paint with paper. Collages are paintings and paintings are collages. It's always about touch (the touch of this artist's hand), and how the papers and colors touch, connect, and overlap. I have always worked in series, exploring media and imagery. My work has been exhibited throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, the Republic of Singapore, India and Japan, in galleries, in solo and group exhibitions, and is included in private, corporate and museum collections in the United States and Japan. My biography is included in Who's Who of American Artists and Who's Who in the East.

Post-graduate studies include traditional printmaking at Pratt Manhattan Graphics in NYC, workshops at the Center for Contemporary Graphics in Norwalk, CT and the Women's Studio Workshop in Rosendale, NY, and workshops in PhotoShop at Art New England, Bennington, VT and Mass College of Art, Boston, MA.
