Artist Statement
From the time I was old enough to pick up a crayon, art has always been an inspirational part of my life. Whether it’s baking a perfect batch of cookies, sketching the family dog, or taking a photograph of your child that tugs at your heart. Nothing compares to the feeling of creating something, and making it your own.
Shortly after I had my first child my friend said to me “don’t you wish we could just freeze them?” and thats when I realized. Childhood simply passes us by too quickly. We CAN’T freeze them, but we can do our best to preserve the memories and special moments we share. The little fingers, the little toes…the handprints that we spend so much time wiping away, will one day be gone. Photographs are proof that we were here, that we lived and we loved.
I specialize in babies and children because I love the innocence and freedom that they portray. My goal is to capture the beauty, love and those special moments so you can relive them again and again.
