Artist Statement

Lisa Santo is from Sleepy Hollow, New York.  After many years of working on Wall Street and becoming a mother of three, she wanted to explore her creative side.  She has studied watercolor painting with Linda Perlmutter, founder of the Odyssey Art at Sea program. Lisa is an active member of The Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow Arts Council, and the Westchester Arts Council in White Plains, New York.  She has taught Creative Art and Watercolor painting on board the Crystal Symphony and the Queen Elizabeth II  with the Odyssey Art at Sea program. Lisa has exhibited her paintings at the River Gallery in Irvington, New York, the Warner Library in Tarrytown, New York, the Northern Center for the Arts in Katonah, NY,  The Ridgefield Guild of Artists in Ridgefield, CT. and Club Fit in Briarcliff, NY. Lisa is currently a member of the Odyssey Art Watercolor Society, a group that meets weekly to explore their love of painting.  She participates in the Odyssey Art at Sea program which gives her the opportunity to teach and share her love of art while inspiring others.
