Artist Statement

Lydia has enjoyed recent tours in acoustic singer-songwriter venues with John Guth, master guitarist,as well as family festivals and concerts with Kathy Byers,recording artist,and producer. Lydia and Kathy are currently co-writing a reptile album as part of "One earth So Green and Round" the interactive ecology program available for concert venues and workshops. Lydia's wild animal hand puppets are a feature of this performance. Lydia offers clear interpretive performances in historical themes.... Working with classical pianist  Dr Ruthanne Schempf Lydia lights up the Hudson Valley with story songs from Colonial Days to Turn of Century and Tin Pan Alley Tunes. Lydia and her puppets entertain in a warm, energetic, interactive manner that delights audiences, young and old alike.
