Artist Statement
Since the mid-90s, stained glass has been my favored medium of artistic expression. My goal is to honor the the movement of suspended liquids (glass).and light. The glass compositions bring added dimension to the abstract designs fabricated with the flow of creative moving through the process from start to finish. Jewelry is a form of artistic composition that I enjoy. My preference is to create small hanging sculptures from precious/semi-precious stones and crystals. They are made in pairs and sold as ear-rings. Having an incredible fondness of nature, I am drawing a series of Treehouses. They are brilliantly colored and vivid of the imagination. Photography is my favorite way to communicate. A picture is worth a thousand words and more when I am able to capture the essence of spirit that touches one's soul in a photograph.
