Artist Statement
Creighton Michael's work is derived from drawing activity. His primary focus is the creation and exploration of a marking language in both two and three-dimensional formats. He is known for his sculpture, painting and works on paper, which are related but unique. Whichever format taken, his interest remains consistent, though his investigation may lead in different directions. The emerging or resulting imagery occurring in his work is always process driven.
