Artist Statement
I was born in Greenwich, CT and have ever since been completely enamored with the sea, mermaids, and all things magical and aquatic. I am a Sculpture/3d Media major in the Purchase School of Art+Design with a strong interest and dedication in alternative media for young girls. My work can be seen in the form of illustrated books, web and television series. I am interested in popular art, which differs from both pop art and commercial art, and you don't need an art degree for it to have meaning for you.
