Artist Statement

Adam Gertsacov is an actor, director, and clown based in Yonkers NY.  Originally from Providence RI, Adam is the most educated clown in America (barring certain elected officials)  He is a graduate of two clown schools, one theatre school, an Ivy League University (BA), a State University (MA), numerous master classes with clown luminaries, and the Boston School of Bartending. Adam wears many hats, including that of a flea circus impresario, a PT Barnum impersonator, a respected teacher of clowning, an author and publisher, and the esteemed hat of the Clown Laureate of Greenbelt MD. He has performed his original shows and taught workshops all over the country, and in Canada, Europe, and South America.  His flea circus was a question on Jeopardy, and he has appeared on a number of television and radio programs, and been reviewed favorably in numerous papers including the New York Times.
