Artist Statement
I studied fine arts at Cooper Union and New York University and architecture at New York University and Pratt Institute. Assistant Professor of Architecture 1965-1968. Retired from an architectural career of over fifty years, my work tends to be structured. Pastel on paper is my preferred medium since it continues that drawing discipline to which I am accustomed. I believe my work to be poetic and impressionist in the sense of subject rather than medium. My present work is broken down mainly into two series; "Sun Poems" and the other based on subjects in music and dance. Sizes approximately 21" x 27"
