Sleepy Hollow Lit Fest — FREE, all day, family friendly, multi-genre fun!

Please join us for a huge, fun and FREE literary festival coming to multiple venues across Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown on Saturday, May 18, 2019, 10 am – 5 p.m. (and later into the evening at Hudson Valley Writers Center). The launch event of the 18th-month Bicentennial celebration of Washington Irving’s “Legend of Sleepy Hollow” features over 100 multi-genre authors, activities and vendors including: author signings/booksales at Warner Library, Vendor Village food and shopping and special Event Tent with panels and presentations at Patriot’s Park, youth theater workshops at Tarrytown Music Hall, music and teen open mic at Jazz Forum with Writopia Lab, spooky readings and scavenger hunts at Old Dutch Church/SleepyHollow Cemetery, and literary and poetry readings at the Writers Center at Philipse Manor Station. This exciting festival celebrates Irving’s legacy of lively literary-arts-for-all for readers across genres and ages. Shuttles provided between venues and trains.
