PELHAM, NY. Pelham Art Center is pleased to announce its 2022 Faculty Exhibition, on view January 8 through January 29, 2022. This annual exhibition features new work in a variety of mediums by the Art Center’s distinguished instructors. Exhibited artwork ranges from drawings and oil paintings to ceramics and collage. This exhibition provides a great opportunity to collect original art from established artists, and to view the diverse expertise that instructors impart in the classes at Pelham Art Center.

Participating Artists: Mecca Alim, Jeanne Carreau, JC English, Frank Fanelli, Keith Gordon, Edgar Jerins, Hayley Ferber, Letizia Gentile, Sonika Gupta, Eleanor Miller, Charlotte Mouquin, Susan Nathenson, Nancy Nikkal, Donna Ross, Susan Saas, Erika Shallcross, The Nerdy Duo, and more.

Pelham Art Center instructors are professional artists in their associated media. They are not only artists but also curators, collectors, entrepreneurs, scholars, and community pillars who have kindled creativity in thousands of students. Many are graduates of premier fine arts programs, hold prestigious awards and apprenticeships, and have been widely exhibited nationally and internationally. Since its founding in 1970, Pelham Art Center teaching artists have nurtured the creative potential of students of all levels.

Pelham Art Center is a non-profit educational and cultural institution committed to providing public access to see, study and experience the arts, foster lifelong arts appreciation and thereby strengthen the community.  The Art Center was founded in 1970 and now serves more than 16,000 people each year. These events and programs are made possible, in part, by ArtsWestchester with funds from Westchester County Government with the support of County Executive George Latimer. Pelham Art Center also receives funding from: New York State Council on the Arts, A State Agency, and Pelham Community Members and Annual Fund Donors.

Mission and History Pelham Art Center is a nonprofit educational and cultural insitution committed to providing public access to see, study, and experience the arts, foster lifelong arts appreciation and thereby strengthen the community of Southern Westchester and surronding areas. Art Classes are run for children and adults all year. The Pelham Art Center gallery exhibits are open to the public and also offers free public programs, artist talks, and concerts on a regular basis.
