Julius Caesar

Untermyer Performing Arts Council’s World Fest 2019

Presents

Julius Caesar

Performed by Hudson Valley Shakespeare

7:30 p.m.  Saturday, July 27th 2019 at Historic Untermyer Park

Shakespeare returns to Untermyer Park! UPAC presented its first performance of Shakespeare, Midsummer Night’s Dream, in 1976. Once again we are returning to that tradition and presenting a work of the Bard as interpreted by Hudson Valley Shakespeare at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 27th.

This year we are featuring William Shakespeare’s ultimate tragedy of betrayal, Julius Caesar, as performed by Hudson Valley Shakespeare. Their interpretation of the story of Julius Caesar, the charismatic war hero adored by the public yet mistrusted by his closest friends, brings this tale of violent betrayal to life.

This definitely is another “don’t miss” Untermyer Performing Arts Council World Fest 2019 evening under the stars!
