In Memoriam: Charlotte Mouquin

ArtsWestchester’s board and staff mourn the untimely loss of our friend and colleague Charlotte Mouquin. As Executive Director at Pelham Art Center, she was dedicated to growing the center’s impact in the community by creating a bridge to the arts. She was also passionate about supporting local artists, and was an invaluable champion of art’s ability to heal, nourish and empower. Charlotte shepherded Pelham Art Center through the pandemic with grace and efficiency, finding ways to help artists and the community maintain creative outlets, collaborative connections and educational opportunities.

Previously, she was Director at Rush Arts Galleries of the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation. She was also a creative and talented artist, exhibiting and presenting her works at renowned art shows and galleries. We join the local arts community and beyond in keeping Charlotte’s coworkers, colleagues, friends and family in our thoughts. She will be missed.
