Call for Art | 3rd Annual Here and Now Art Show | Freeport, NY
Long Island Arts Council in Freeport, NY invited older adults (60+) to submit paintings by May 5 for an exhibition at the Freeport Memorial Library June 1 – June 30.
- Please submit your artwork via email as a JPG attachment to infoLIACF@gmail-com
- Subject line of the email should read: Art by Older Adults
- Include your name, full address, telephone number, AND the title of your artwork MUST be included in the text of the email
- Your JPG filename should read: TITLE of work and your LASTNAME
- You may submit up to three (3) pieces of artwork in your email
- Painting on any subject matter will be accepted
- Painting should not exceed 26″ x 32″
- L.I. Arts Council at Freeport committee will select the 30 paintings to be exhibited
- All artists will be notified by email no later than May 12
- Selected work must be wired and ready for hanging
- Selected art must be delivered to the Freeport Memorial Library (144 Wes Merrick Road) on with one of the two days to be announced shortly.
