Applications Open For Arts Ambassadors

ArtsWestchester’s Arts Ambassadors program allows those who are passionate about the arts to volunteer for a local arts nonprofit. In fact, these volunteer roles actively assist ArtsWestchester’s ability to support other area arts groups, including nonprofit organizations, school programs, cultural sites, and helps individual artists in the development of their programs and practices.

Arts Ambassadors are community volunteers who value the arts and understand the role that the arts play in enriching lives and building communities. As Field Representatives, they are asked to visit cultural programs throughout the county, such as exhibitions, performances afterschool teen programs, community festivals or workshops, where Ambassadors will document and report on their experiences. Or, they may help to collect data that will later be used to make a compelling case for financial support of the cultural sector. Other volunteer roles can include office and administrative support. These opportunities are flexible based on the organization’s needs, but also the volunteer’s interests.

The list of Arts Ambassadors keeps growing and the organization welcomes new applications.
