Film Center Relaunches Series in Memory of Jonathan Demme
Jacob Burns Film Center (JBFC) has announced the relaunch and re-imagining of its “Rarely Seen Cinema” series. This fall, JBFC, along with Demme’s family, have kicked off a new season in the filmmaker’s honor. This October, the series’ new host, actress and screenwriter Jenny Lumet, will present Cabin in the Sky (10/7), Death of a Gunfighter (10/14) and The Wiz (10/21).
