Westchester County and neighboring communities offer a diverse lineup of jazz concerts, chamber music performances and innovative presentations throughout 2025. Each event reflects the region’s vibrant commitment to celebrating jazz in all its forms. April 13
Bobby Sanabria and the Multiverse Band
Presented by PJS Jazz Society
This monthly series presents award-winning drummer Bobby Sanabria and the Multiverse Band in an evening of big band. The concert will take place at the First Presbyterian Church in Mount Vernon.

April 18 & 19
Benny Green
Presented by Jazz Forum Arts
Grammy Award-nominated pianist Benny Green. Green, who has been compared to Oscar Peterson and Bud Powell, is adept at the jazz genre hard bop and is known for his takes on jazz classics. The band will present two sets on each night.

April 19
Enrique Haneine Quartet
Presented by Westchester Collaborative Theater
Internationally recognized Enrique Haneine, whose album The Mind’s Mural reached the top of the NACC Jazz Charts, headlines this edition of Music in the Box. The quartet will showcase a blend of Latin, jazz and improvisation.

April 25
Wayne Henderson
Presented by New Rochelle Public Library
An ensemble of accomplished local musicians comprised of piano, bass and brass, and led by drummer Wayne Henderson, will deliver a program that features swing, classic ballads and big band sounds at the New Rochelle Public Library’s Ossie Davis Theater.

April 26 & 27
Music of Innovation: John Patitucci & Lawrence Dutton
Presented by Concordia Conservatory
This dual-date event bridges classical and contemporary music with a program presented by Grammy Award-winning bassist John Patitucci and nine-time Grammy-winning violist Lawrence Dutton, formerly of Emerson String Quartet. The duo, accompanied by an ensemble of chamber musicians, will perform works by Dvořák, J.S. Bach, Glière and Patitucci. These two jazz concerts will take place at separate locations: on April 26 at The Reformed Church of Bronxville and on April 27 at the Second Congregational Church in Greenwich, CT.

April 26
The Ray Blue Quartet
Presented by Westchester Collaborative Theater
Accomplished tenor sax player Ray Blue and his quartet returns with a cabaret-style jazz performance in the theater’s black box space in Ossining.

Bill Mays Quintet: Duke Ellington Tribute
Presented by Jazz Forum Arts
The Bill Mays Quintet delivers an evening tribute to the enduring legacy of Duke Ellington that highlights the pianist’s acclaimed interpretations and musical depth.

April 30
Library Jazz Band: Hitting the Low Notes
Presented by Yonkers Public Library
This concert in honor of International Jazz Day introduces audiences to a blend of jazz classics and original compositions by tuba and baritone horn virtuoso Joseph Daley. The performance takes place at the Riverfront Library Auditorium. Learn more about this concert in this article.

José Luiz Martins: Album Release
Presented at Jazz On Main
Brazilian pianist and composer José Luiz Martins debuts Odyssey Mixtape, an album that chronicles is recovery from Focal Dystonia, a neurological condition that affected his ability to play. The album features original compositions and new arrangements of works by Milton Nascimento, Tânia Maria and João Bosco.

May 9
Nicole Zuraitis
Presented by Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts
Acclaimed jazz singer-songwriter, vocalist and pianist Nicole Zuraitis, whose most recent album won the Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album, delivers an evening of passionate and energetic vocal jazz. This event is in collaboration with Jazz at Lincoln Center.

July 6
Mafalda Minnozzi Quartet: Meu Rio
Presented by Jazz Forum Arts
Paying tribute to the vibrant musical culture of Rio de Janeiro, Italian singer Mafalda Minnozzi presents “Meu Rio,” a performance inspired by the city’s rich Brazilian heritage.

July 18
Catherine Russell and Sean Mason Duo
Presented by Emelin Theatre
Vocalist Catherine Russell and pianist Sean Mason will perform a set of voice-and-piano duets that recall classic jazz traditions. The pair’s album, My Ideal, which was nominated for a 2025 Grammy Award, delves into African-American and American popular music, from blues and R&B to jazz standards and the Great American Songbook.  The performance is part of a collaborative series with Birdland that offers jazz concerts at the Emelin.

July 26
Caramoor Jazz Festival
Presented by Caramoor
The annual Caramoor Jazz Festival transforms lush gardens and outdoor stages into an immersive performance space. With a daytime lineup that feature multiple artists, and an evening headliner—Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra in the Venetian Theater—this family-friendly event presented in collaboration with Jazz at Lincoln Center promises a day of musical exploration. September 10–14
JazzFest White Plains
Presented by ArtsWestchester, the City of White Plains and White Plains BID
Returning for its 14th year, JazzFest White Plains spans five days in downtown White Plains. A local favorite, ArtsWestchester’s annual jazz festival showcases over 15 free and affordable live jazz concerts and performances. These include emerging local talent alongside internationally recognized jazz luminaries, including Grammy Award-winners and nominees. Featured artists this year include Kenny Barron Trio, Kurt Elling’s Wildflowers featuring Joey Calderazzo, Steve Turre, Immanuel Wilkins Quartet and more.
