ArtsNews Guide: Free Outdoor Summer Concert Series in Westchester

This summer features a wide variety of outdoor concerts at locations throughout Westchester, from waterfronts to outdoor amphitheater venues. Each of these locations offers a lineup of events that take place throughout the summer months.  

These free events highlight all genres of music, including R&B, bluegrass, rock, folk, pop and more. Many concerts become a family-friendly night out with food trucks and additional activities.  Below are 15+ free outdoor live music concerts in Westchester during Summer 2026. Outdoor Summer Concerts

Yonkers Waterfront Live (Yonkers) 

Yonkers Downtown Business Improvement District presents its summer tradition of hosting the Yonkers Waterfront Live Summer Concert Series every Friday. The lineup includes a wide variety of music and performers, like a diva-powered set that features covers of Pink, Debbie Harry and Joan Jett (7/17) and a night of Caribbean, Latin pop and Afrobeats on 8/14. At 6:30pm through August 14. (71 Water Grant St, Yonkers) 

Hastings-on-Jazz (Hastings-on-Hudson) 

Destination Hastings brings New York jazz pianist David Janeway to downtown Hastings-on-Hudson on Sunday afternoons at 3pm through 8/ 9. The final performance (8/9) will include a special guest performance by the Spike Wilner Quartet. (VFW Plaza on Warburton Ave, Hastings-on-Hudson) 

2026 Downtown Summer Sizzle Concert Series (New Rochelle) 

The City of New Rochelle and PMG97 bring their concert series to Ruby Dee Park every Saturday through August 29. The lineup includes the Steepwater Band (7/18), a Bon Jovi cover band (8/8) and more. Tito Puente Jr. will close out the series with his Latin jazz sounds on 8/29. (1 Library Plaza, New Rochelle) 

Mt. Kisco Summer Concerts (Mt. Kisco) 

Mount Kisco Arts Council hosts a summer concert series at Fountain Park at Village Hall. Cole Quest & the City Pickers perform July 23 with Risco Sweets & Treats Italian ices and snow cones. On August 6, Empire Beats concludes the series with live painting by Monique Ford. At 5:30pm. (104 Main St, Mount Kisco) 

107.1 The Peak Beach Sessions (Rye) 

107.1 The Peak hosts concerts at the Barley Beach House in Rye. This season’s lineup includes soul sounds of Devon Gilfillian (7/6), a mix of bluegrass, disco and R&B with Kashus Culpepper and Slap Dragon (7/13) and rock with Houndmouth (8/3). Concerts begin at 7pm. (95 Dearborn Ave, Rye) 

Cortlandt Summer Concert Nights (Verplanck) 

The Town of Cortlandt is back with its annual concert series this year. Food vendors at the town of Cortlandt’s concert series will accompany the wide variety of music each night, from the FDR Drive Band (7/9) to classic rock with The Force (8/6). Concerts are at 6:60pm on select Thursdays through August 6 at Cortlandt Waterfront Park. (77 Riverview Street, Verplanck)

Pelham Recreation: Summer Concerts (Pelham) 

On Monday evenings through August 31, the Town of Pelham celebrates live music in Gazebo Park. The lineup features ‘60s R&B with The Barons (7/27), the sounds of the Philip James Orchestra (8/24) and more. Concerts begin at 7:30pm. (20 Fifth Ave, Pelham) 

Rock the Block (White Plains) 

The Downtown White Plains Business Improvement District and the City of White Plains return with Rock the Block 2026 on Mamaroneck Avenue from Maple Avenue to East Post Road. The concerts feature a variety of music like Slap Dragon on July 15 and the Band Memo on August 19 along with expanded outdoor dining at local restaurants and family-friendly games and activities. Each concert also includes an opening act beginning at 5:30pm.   

Cross County Summer Fest (Yonkers) 

The Cross County Center hosts Summer Fest through August, which includes free salsa dance classes, Zumba, paint & sip nights, line dancing, concerts and the ArtsWestchester ArtsMobile. Concerts on the green take place on select Wednesdays through August 5. Guests can bring chairs and blankets to listen to salsa, reggae, classic rock, Motown and more. Performances begin at 6:30. (8000 Mall Walk, Yonkers) 

Summer Sounds Concert Series (New Rochelle) 

New Rochelle Council on the Arts’ Summer Sounds concert series is back at Hudson Park. On Wednesdays and Fridays through August 28, the concert lineup includes dance and disco with Seeing Red (7/17), jazz and swing with Rick Martin Orchestra (8/12), country with Headfirst (8/21) and more. A variety of food trucks will be on site and music begins at 7:30. (1 Hudson Park Road, New Rochelle) 

Peekskill Summer Concert Series (Peekskill) 

The City of Peekskill features a concert series at the Riverfront on Thursdays, with performances from the eight-piece First Class Dance Band (7/9), country folk music from Marc Berger & Ride (7/16), Grateful Dead tribute band Half Step (7/23), R&B and soul music from Billy Badd Base Camp (7/30), ‘80s hits with Archives Band (8/6) and country cover band Hillbilly Parade (8/13). Concerts begin at 7pm (50 Hudson Ave, Peekskill) 

Jazz Forum Arts Free Outdoor Summer Concerts (Dobbs Ferry, Irvington, Tarrytown, Ossining and Sleepy Hollow) 

Jazz Forum Arts presents 32 concerts at five locations in July and August. Tarrytown kicked off the series at Pierson Park with jazz concerts following every Friday. Dobbs Ferry performances take place at Waterfront Park on Wednesdays, Irvington concerts take over Matthiessen Park on Thursdays and Ossining performances add to the ambiance of Henry Gourdine Park on Mondays. Tuesday concerts at Horan’s Landing in Sleepy Hollow begin August 4. 

Tarrytown Outdoor Summer Concert Series (Tarrytown) 

The Tarrytown Recreation Department presents a outdoor concert series on the waterfront at Pierson Park on Thursdays through August 27. These concerts will feature music from local Westchester musicians and musicians from the New York Tri-State Area. Music begins at 7pm. (240 W Main St, Tarrytown) 

Outdoor Concerts at Harbor Island Park (Mamaroneck) 

Emelin Theater closes its outdoor concerts on July 15 with Naturally 7, an acapella group known for using only their voices to replicate the sound of an entire band, performing genres like R&B, pop, gospel and soul. The concert takes place at Harbor Island Park at 7pm, where food trucks and drinks will also be on site. (Lanza Field, Harbor Island Park, Mamaroneck) 

Hastings-on-Hudson Sunset Concert Series (Hastings-on-the-Hudson)

In addition to Hastings-on-Jazz, Destination Hastings presents a sunset concert series at MacEachron Waterfront Park in July. The lineup features NYC Ska Orchestra (7/7), award winning Quebecois band Le Vent du Nord (7/15) and Hudson Valley songwriter Dar Williams (7/22). At 7pm. (100 River St, Hastings-On-Hudson) 

Concerts in the Park (Port Chester) 

Port Chester Recreation presents its summer concert series with live concerts on Friday nights through August 14 at Lyon Park. The lineup includes rock with St. Vincent & the Delinquents (7/10), summer classics with Twist of Fate (7/17), Beatles tribute band The Sun Kings (7/24) and more. Concerts begin at 7:30pm. (331 Putnam Ave, Port Chester)  

Robinson Summer Concert Series (Valhalla) 

Westchester County Parks presents a summer concert series that features a lineup that includes Xtreme Queen (7/23), Ladies of the ‘80s Night Out (7/30) and tribute bands for The Dave Mathews Band (7/9), Billy Joel (8/13), Zac Brown (8/21) and Tom Petty (8/27). Concerts begin at 7pm at the Kensico Dam Plaza. (1 Bronx River Parkway, Valhalla) 

Hudson River Museum Summer Amphitheater Series (Yonkers) 

The Hudson River Museum and the City of Yonkers present their 2026 summer concert series in their 400-seat outdoor amphitheater. On Friday evenings from July 10 to August 14, their lineup includes Cajun and New Orleans funk with Big Mamou (7/24), folkloric-rooted Afrobeat with Afro Dominicano (8/7), an audience request-based piano battle by the Flying Ivories (8/14) and more. The amphitheater opens at 7:30pm and concerts begin at 8pm. (511 Warburton Ave, Yonkers)
