I am a journalist, memoirist, editor and educator. My articles have been published in the New York Times, Communication Arts, Harvard Magazine and more. My short memoirs appear in assorted literary journals; one was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. I have taught memoir writing workshops at the Hudson Valley Writers Center since 2009. I am co-author with Vicki Addesso, Joan Potter and Lori Toppel of the collaborative memoir "Still Here Thinking of You: A Second Chance With Our Mothers" (Big Table Publishing).
