Teaching Artist Experience
I have been honored to be a part of multiple residencies with ArtsWestchester including Nelson Mandela High School in Mount Vernon, and Montessori School 27, School 30 and Martin Luther King, Jr. in Yonkers. As a producer working with schools and teachers, we were able to work on projects that focused on issues such as drug use and self-esteem, all while engaging students in the entire film making process-- from planning, creating, acting, directing, and filming using professional equipment.
