C.D. Grant is a nationally-published writer of poetry, fiction, scholarly articles and a featured writer for magazines and newspapers. His novel "Jaime's Place" was published in 2012 and is available from Amazon.com or directly from the writer (consultcd2@gmail.com). He has four published volumes of poetry available from www.blindbeggarpress.org or directly from him also. The former music editor and feature writer for Essence Magazine, he has also been published in several other national magazines and collections, including Fine Art magazine, Afrikan Voices, Black Masks, and others. As a photographer, Grant studied with the New York Institute of Photography and specializes in portraiture, special events and outdoor photography. He has exhibited his photography and computer art in the Westchester Arts Workshop, at the Bronx Community College Hall of Fame Gallery and the Greenburgh Library, among other venues. Grant. is the Artistic Director and CEO of a consulting firm in Westchester County, Consulting Plus, specializing in graphic design, photography, public relations and marketing. He graduated from the City University of NY with a BA in Psychology and holds a Master of Science Degree in Journalism from Iona College in New Rochelle, specializing in Electronic Publishing.
