Westchester’s Pride Month programming extends beyond parades and festivals to include films, performances, exhibitions, workshops and community events throughout June. These happenings highlight LGBTQ+ storytelling, creativity and connection while offering opportunities to gather and celebrate together. Out There: Pride Edition
Jacob Burns Film Center celebrates Pride Month with Out There: Pride Edition, a series of screenings and special events highlighting LGBTQ+ stories, artists and filmmakers – like live music and stand-up comedy. Programs include classic and contemporary films, documentaries and community gatherings throughout the month. A highlight of the series is a June 25 screening of Hedwig and the Angry Inch that is paired with a Pride Parking Lot Party featuring food, music, drag performances and other activities. LGBTQ+ Listening Library
ArtsWestchester presents the LGBTQ+ Listening Library, curated by Christina Picciano of Hudson Valley Queer Collective, through August 2. The interactive exhibition presents a growing archive of vinyl records, CDs and cassettes by LGBTQ+ musicians, inviting visitors to explore music by legendary and emerging artists. Third Annual Tuckahoe Pride Celebration

Film Screening + Q&A: The Celluloid Closet
Bedford Playhouse presents a 30th anniversary 4K restoration screening of The Celluloid Closet, the 1996 documentary tracing the history of gay and lesbian representation in film. Free First Fridays: Kaya Nicole Quartet
Hudson River Museum presents an evening of live jazz with the Kaya Nicole Quartet in celebration of Juneteenth and Pride Month. The quartet performs two sets of original arrangements honoring Black and queer American composers, with music spanning swing, soul, spiritual jazz and neo-soul. Westchester Pride Festival returns to downtown White Plains with live entertainment, community organizations, vendors and activities celebrating LGBTQ+ communities across the county. The event includes a flag raising, performances like Broadway Sings for Pride, a vogue workshop, dance contest, family zone, community solidarity march and community resources tables. As part of 2026 Westchester Pride, this program, co-organized by ArtsWestchester and The LOFT LGBTQ+ Community Center, introduces the foundations of vogue with a hands-on workshop followed by a performance. Led by Legendary Khaos Lanvin, Kuresha Versace Balenciaga, Jodi Miyake-Mugler and Icon-Founder Michael Roberson Maison-Margiela, the session explores vogue’s history, movement style and community roots.
