All memberships are annual, and run from January to December.  Dues are based on your annual budget. Please DO NOT send payment at this time. You will be invoiced once your application has been reviewed and approved.

Affiliate Cultural Org Membership (Affiliate) and eligibility -Affiliate membership is open to Westchester-based, not-for-profit corporations or associations with a mission statement that: (1) clearly delineates the arts as primary, both in focus and in actual operation (“Arts” includes developing a skill in or knowledge of a discipline); (2) has been registered as a not-for-profit organization with 501(c)3 status for at least one year; and (3) maintains a volunteer supervisory body, such as a board of directors that meets at least twice a year.

Associate Membership and eligibility – Associate membership is open to not-for-profit organizations, groups, associations, and unincorporated arts collectives that offer cultural programs and services in Westchester County on an ongoing basis. This includes such community-based organizations as libraries or the cultural departments at universities (e.g., dance, theater, or visual arts programs operating under the aegis of the university).

Please Note: New membership is contingent on the approval of the Affiliate Committee of the ArtsWestchester Board of Trustees

Organization Details

NON-PROFIT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Nonprofit organizations located in Westchester County must have an active Board of Trustees and must demonstrate non-profit status with one of the following:

  • 501(c)(3) letter of tax exempt status, Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service
  • Certificate of Incorporation under Section 402 of the New York State Not-for-Profit Law
  • Charter from New York State Board of Regents under 216 of the Education Law
  • Current New York State Bureau of Charities filing receipt
  • Official authorization as an arm of local government (ie, a formal letter on official stationery signed by the appropriate county, city, town or village executive)
