Artist Statement
Marcy B. Freedman is an artist and art historian. Her training has enabled her to work as an adjunct professor at local colleges and universities and to offer public lectures on a variety of topics in museums, libraries and private institutions. As an artist, Marcy has explored many media -- from painting and collage to photography, video and performance art. Examples of her art have been included in more than 300 exhibitions around the country. In all of her work, Marcy strives to combine formal values with challenging content, hoping that her art will "please the eye and tease the brain."
