I am a Belgian-born, New York-based artist whose vibrant, mixed-media work blends fantasy, culture, and emotion. Raised across continents, my intuitive process draws on dreams, movement, and nature. Using acrylic, gouache, and found objects, I create textured, playful narratives exploring identity, belonging, and personal mythology. My work is influenced by expressionism, fauvism and cubism. I am a juried member of the National Association of Women Artists and the Mamaroneck Artists Guild and have exhibited in New York City, France, and across Westchester County.
As a young adult I studied art for 2 years in France, at Schiller College and at the Universite des Art Decoratifs. Later I earned a Master's degree in Public Health at Boston University and worked in health and social services for much of my career. For the past 7 years I have resumed my artistic focus, much of it self- taught, and through adhoc classes and workshops at the Pelham and Rye Art centers and the Art Students League in NY.
