Founded in 1964 on the Hudson River, Garrison Art Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to connecting and enriching lives through the visual arts. We serve over 6,500 people annually through exhibitions, classes, events, and outreach—plus thousands more online.
Our galleries feature 13 exhibitions a year, highlighting over 680 regional artists. With more than 70 programs offered onsite, our studios provide creative opportunities in painting, ceramics, printmaking, fiber arts, and more for all ages and experience levels. At Garrison Art Center we host events like the Figure Draw-A-Thon, Artist Socials for Members, Garrison Craft, Holiday Pottery Show & Sale, Arty Martini Party, and our Annual Art Auction, that help support our programs and strengthen our vibrant creative community.
