Young Creators Studio: Immersive Arts and Music Enrichment Program for Preschoolers

Rye, NY | December 18, 2024 – The Rye Arts Center presents Young Creators Studio, a new immersive Arts & Music program designed to enrich the lives of preschool-age children through an engaging and affordable multi-disciplinary arts experience. The program, beginning in September 2025,  blends visual and performing arts with STEAM activities, offering children a vibrant way to explore arts and culture through hands-on projects and imaginative activities.  

Young Creators Studio is available Monday – Friday, for both AM (8:45 am – 11:45 am) and PM (11:30 am – 2:30 pm) sessions.  Register for multiple days and receive a discount!  Secure your spot today!  Additional programs for pre-school children are also available, please see our website.    Space is limited.

Comprehensive Arts Exploration
Young Creators Studio integrates a range of artistic and academic disciplines to ignite curiosity and creativity:

  • Visual Arts: Activities include drawing, painting, ceramics, pop art, cubism, and more.
  • Performing Arts: Children can explore creative movement and experiment with musical instruments.
  • STEAM Learning: Arts-based activities that are designed to deepen children’s understanding of science, technology, engineering, and math.

Children are introduced to renowned composers and visual artists, inspiring cultural appreciation and creative imagination:

  • Composers: Featuring the works of Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, and others.
  • Visual Artists: Exploration of masterpieces by Georgia O’Keeffe, Yayoi Kusama, Antoni Gaudí, and more.

Young Creators Studio builds children’s confidence and encourages originality by helping them appreciate discipline and patience in the creative process while sharing their unique creations with enthusiasm and pride.
