White Plains, N.Y. (March 31, 2026) – The rhythmic beats of Bomba and the colorful flair of Caribbean craftsmanship are coming to Mamaroneck Avenue.

ArtsWestchester’s Westchester Roots initiative will host Chinchorreo White Plains, a dynamic three-day Puerto Rican Arts Weekend running from Friday, April 24, through Sunday, April 26.

The festivities kick off Friday night with a dose of high-energy humor featuring Off-Broadway sensation Eli Castro. Castro, known for his ability to weave together Puerto Rican culture and language, will perform a family-friendly set starting at 7:30 p.m. Doors open an hour early for the show, with tickets priced at $35 for general admission and $30 for ArtsWestchester members.

The celebration continues Saturday and Sunday with an immersive Artisan Fair open from noon to 5:00 p.m. both days.
