Westchester Oratorio Society resumes rehearsals on Sept 12 in Katonah

Westchester Oratorio Society, Benjamin Niemczyk, artistic director, begins its 26th season with rehearsals starting on September  12, 2023 for the group’s fall concert featuring Bach: Cantata, BWV 706; Händel: Te Deum, HWV 280; Bach: Cantata, BWV 140 and Fauré: Cantique de Jean Racine, Op. 11.   The concert will be on Saturday evening November 18th at 7:30 PM at the South Salem Presbyterian Church, NY (with a dress rehearsal on Friday evening 11/17), The chorus will be accompanied by professional soloists and the WOS Baroque Orchestra. The concert is made possible with the support of the Westchester Community Foundation, a Division of the New York Community Trust.

Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings from 7 PM to 8:30 PM in the Garden Room of the Katonah Village Library, 26 Bedford Rd., Katonah NY, located a short walk from the Metro-North train station.
