Westchester Oratorio Society Invites Singers to Join Tuesday Rehearsals Ahead of May 9 Concert

Westchester Oratorio Society, David Štech, artistic director begins preparations for the group’s Spring Concert with weekly rehearsals resuming on Tuesday January 6 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at St Luke’s Episcopal Church, 331. NY 100, Somers, New York.

The concert itself will be on Saturday evening, May 9, 2026 at Presbyterian Church of Mount Kisco, NY.  Mr. Štech, will conduct an all-Mendelssohn program, entitled,  “Pagans and Pitchforks and Psalms” featuring “Verleih’ uns Frieden,” “Psalm 42” and “Die erste Walpurginacht” performed with professional soloists and the WOS concert orchestra.

The concert  is made possible with a grant from The New York Community Trust. The New York Community Trust is New York’s largest community foundation, serving New York City, Long Island, Westchester, and beyond. For more than 100 years, The Trust has brought together the local knowledge and diverse expertise of its team and nonprofit and philanthropic partners to support thriving and equitable communities and help donors champion the causes they love.
