Bubbles and Broadway: a special concert featuring Meghan Picerno
Join the Pound Ridge Library Foundation for an afternoon delight of Broadway songs & bubbly with Broadway star, Meghan Picerno, Saturday December 16th at 4pm. This performance will showcase the new acoustic panels recently funded by the Pound Ridge Library Foundation in the Schaffner Room. Come join in the holiday cheer with us and learn more about the Pound Ridge Library Foundation while serenaded by world class music — it will be an afternoon to remember!
Meghan Picerno, rising star in both the worlds of Broadway and Opera, is an accomplished American soprano and musical theater performer, recognized for her outstanding vocal talent and captivating stage presence. A fan favorite, she is consistently praised for her exciting, crowd-pleasing performances in opera, theatre, and on concert stages throughout the world.
Register on the library website. Registration guarantees a spot in the program. Registration does not guarantee a parking spot. The library encourages carpooling as much as possible. A shuttle bus will be available to transport the expected sizable gathering from Pound Ridge Town Park.
About Pound Ridge Library
Opened in 1952, the Pound Ridge Library now has a collection of over 50,000 items, including books, magazines, DVDs, music CDs, and CD audiobooks. The library’s collection is broad and diverse but is particularly strong in the arts, biographies, mysteries, and cookbooks. In addition, the library offers electronic database searching and Internet access for reference and research. As the town’s cultural center, the library offers activities such as art and craft exhibits, driver safety programs, films, concerts, lectures, and book discussion programs year-round. The library sponsors various children’s activities, including winter and spring vacation programs, story hours, holiday happenings, arts and crafts workshops, musical performances, and the annual Summer Reading Program. Pound Ridge Library is a member of the Westchester Library System (WLS), a cooperative of 38 independent public libraries in Westchester County. As a patron of our library, you can access to materials from any of the member libraries through WLS’s online public access catalog. Materials ordered from other WLS libraries can be picked up at the Pound Ridge Library. Patrons may also check out books and return materials at any WLS library.
