A Thankful Community: Bethany Arts Community’s 6th Annual Fundraiser
Bethany Arts Community (BAC) is thrilled to announce our 6th Annual Fundraiser: A Thankful Community which will take place on Saturday November 23, 2024 at 7pm. The evening will include specialty cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live music, poetry, fine art, and a silent auction. Festive attire.
Bethany Arts Community is a space and environment where all forms of art can be learned and expressed, where hope and acceptance are the norms. Nurturing the creative process, Bethany welcomes artists of all ages, experiences, and backgrounds to explore and create art that the community can engage with. We foster sharing, connection, and collaboration, in an inclusive culture where people can experience the power of art to improve lives and expand their perceptions and perspectives of the world.
Programming at Bethany includes after-school and in-school multidisciplinary art classes for youth, summer camps, art classes for adults and seniors, year-round artist residencies, public performances, festivals, monthly exhibitions, artist studio rentals, and community engagement programs built in collaboration with community partners and resident artists.
This year’s theme “A Thankful Community” recognizes the collective power and generosity of our Community in helping us to build creative opportunities and an environment that truly serve our mission. We are a thankful community. Bethany would not be here without our Community. Each artist, visitor, partner, staff member, board member, student, volunteer, and friend brings a new perspective to Bethany and leaves us all fuller and more curious for what more we can do together. Join us on November 23rd to celebrate and recognize our Community!
“At Bethany, it is important to us to be mindful of the diverse contributions of each member of our community. Each day, individual actions and ideas contribute to building something better and more expansive than any one of us could do alone. Celebrating gratitude is the foundation for an environment at Bethany that encourages collaboration, imagination and artistic growth.” Bonnie Bradley, BAC Executive Director.
As a non-profit 501(c)3 we rely on the support of our community. The generosity of our donors helps us help support artists of all ages and experience levels to create new work and develop workshops, programs and events that engage and respond to our local community and beyond.
Tickets are limited and available for purchase on the BAC website. Silent Auction items will be available for bidding at the live event.

About Bethany Arts Community Inc
Bethany is a space and environment where all forms of art can be learned and expressed. Nurturing the creative process, Bethany welcomes artists, from young to old, and all levels of skill, to explore and create art that the community can engage with. Bethany fosters sharing, connection, and collaboration, in an inclusive culture where people experience the power of art to improve lives and deepen their perceptions and perspectives of the world.
Founded in 2015 by David Lyons, Bethany Arts Community aspires to be a leading center for arts creation, instruction and appreciation. After a period of renovation, Bethany opened its doors in January 2018. We have a 44,000 sq ft facility set on 25 serene acres. Our offerings include children’s and adult instruction, a performance venue, multiple galleries, rehearsal spaces, affordable studio spaces, short-term artist residencies, a public sculpture garden and wooded meditation trail. Bethany will provide the community with a range of accessible arts programs and will attract global artists to our region.
