Purchase, New York – June 17, 2026. The Performing Arts Center, SUNY Purchase (The Purchase PAC) will present its Center Series — a full season of world-class performing arts events — starting in October of 2026. Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, July 8.

The Purchase PAC’s 2026-2027 season announcement invites us to consider: “How do you feel when the curtain goes up?” The season, which runs from October through May, will feature a broad range of arts experiences in music, dance, spoken word, theatre for young audiences, and film. In addition to the performances themselves, there will be multiple opportunities for creative encounters and audience engagement.

The season will begin on Saturday, October 17 with Jason Neulander’s newest “live-action graphic novel,” Treasure Island Reimagined: Jane Hawkins and the Pirate’s Gold, a totally unique adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic. Highlights include Ballet Hispánico New York’s CARMEN.maquia, Branford Marsalis and Dianne Reeves paying tribute to John Coltrane, and Orpheus Chamber Orchestra with violinist Paul Huang. Also of note – a live performance of the popular podcast Selected Shorts, a return visit by our old friends and audience favorites Black Violin, and a number of collaborative events that will give SUNY Purchase Conservatory students the opportunity to perform with professional touring artists. Audiences can also expect four concerts from Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, dance performances by Paul Taylor Dance Company and A.I.M by Kyle Abraham, jazz, film, and more.

All performances will take place at The Performing Arts Center, SUNY Purchase, 735 Anderson Hill Road, Purchase, NY 10577. The complete season schedule is available to view on The Purchase PAC website at https://www.artscenter.org/events/.

Tickets for Center Series events will go on sale July 8.
