The Bruce Museum cordially invites artists to share their creativity in a special exhibition honoring America’s Semiquincentennial—Your Plate Squared: Celebrating America’s 250th. Our theme? How we celebrate holidays through food—the flavors, traditions, and stories that bring us together.

Exhibition Dates: June 11 – August 23, 2026

Submission Window: April 11, 2026 – August 9, 2026.

Work in a medium you love—drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, or photography—as long as it fits the 6 inches by 6 inches format. There is no fee to participate, so we’re excited to see your interpretation of celebratory cuisine.
