River’s Edge Theatre Co. Presents a new WORDLESS production:  EBENEZER

Ossining, NY — This December, River’s Edge Theatre Co. invites audiences to experience a beloved holiday story like never before with EBENEZER, a dark, wordless reimagining of Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol.

Performances will take place at Bethany Arts Community in Ossining:

  • December 4 at 7:30pm
  • December 5 at 7:30pm
  • December 6 at 4:00pm & 7:30pm
  • December 7 at 4:00pm

Adapted by River’s Edge Artistic Director Meghan Covington, directed by Jessica Irons, choreographed by Megan Roe, and featuring original music by Jon Hatch,

“By removing words, we uncover the deeper human truth at the heart of Dickens’s story—one of greed, compassion, and redemption,” says Covington. “In a time when corporate greed and social inequality continue to affect our communities, this story feels more urgent than ever.”

In keeping with the company’s mission to inspire social change through the arts, River’s Edge Theatre Co. will donate 10% of proceeds from EBENEZER to the Ossining Food Pantry, feeding over 1200 individuals  in need each week.

Perfect for fans of experimental theatre and timeless holiday classics alike, EBENEZER invites audiences to experience a universal language that transcends words and speaks directly to the soul.

Recommended for ages 8 and up due to dark themes and spooky imagery.
