Sarah Nordin & Tyler Putnam to Perform at a Musical Afternoon to Benefit Westchester Oratorio Society on October 25 in Bedford.

Come support the programs of the Westchester Oratorio Society and enjoy an afternoon of music, food and camaraderie on Saturday, October 25, 2025, when mezzo-soprano Sarah Nordin and her husband bass-baritone Tyler Putnam will take time out from their busy opera schedules to showcase their musical versatility.  The multi-talented couple will perform their acclaimed show, “Cheek to Cheek” accompanied on the piano by the Society’s Artistic Director, David Štech in the elegant setting of the Fellowship Hall of Saint Matthew’s Church, 382 Cantitoe Street, Bedford, NY.  The event is from 12 to 3 pm.

The charming and engaging performance highlights the couple’s talents from musical comedy and light opera to ballroom dancing. Nordin has been praised by Opera News for the “clear beauty” of her voice and her “spot-on comic timing.”  Together, “Putnam and Nordin command the stage with world-class voices that can best be described as nothing less than celestial as they allow us to relive the golden era of Broadway with memorable songs. They even find time for a little dancing to add action to this otherwise blissful one-hour evening . . .” – Dave Elias, NBC News 2.

A light lunch and dessert will be served. Tickets are $45 pp ($80 couple) and may be purchased through the WOS website.  An event sponsorship for $250 includes four preferred seats and recognition in the program.  To RSVP or for more information,  email [email protected].
