Embrace the Art of Aging at Greenburgh Public Library with Victoria Moran
Greenburgh, NY – Aging is inevitable, but thriving in your later years is an art. Greenburgh Public Library is excited to host Victoria Moran, celebrated author, speaker, and 2024 Vegan Hall of Fame inductee, for a special presentation of her latest book, Age Like a Yogi: A Heavenly Path to a Dazzling Third Act. This inspiring event will occur on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the library’s multipurpose room.
In Age Like a Yogi, Moran treats physical well-being and spiritual growth as two sides of the same coin, offering readers practical tools to thrive in their midlife and beyond. This guide weaves together yoga’s timeless philosophy and Ayurveda’s wisdom to help individuals maintain vitality while nurturing their spiritual essence. The book explores how yoga, far beyond its physical postures, provides an adaptable framework for mental, physical, and spiritual health at any age.
During the event, Moran will share key insights from her book, including how these ancient practices empower individuals to cultivate a fulfilling “third act” while contributing to a kinder and more beautiful world. Attendees can also participate in a Q&A session and enjoy a book signing. Copies of Age Like a Yogi, which officially releases on January 14, 2025, will be available for purchase at the event through Hudson Valley Books for Humanity. 10% of the proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Greenburgh Library.
