RyesAbove Public Art Project
Presented by Rye Arts Center and The Rotary Club of Rye
Rye Arts Center and The Rotary Club of Rye seek artists to participate in RyesAbove, a community art project. Artists will transform various sized aluminum and steel butterflies, which will be displayed throughout the summer in locations across Rye. They will then be available for purchase at a fall auction to benefit educational programs and scholarships for students in the local area. Deadline: January 31

Call for Nominations: Advancing Equity Awards
Presented by ArtsWestchester
Nominations are open for ArtsWestchester’s Advancing Equity awards, which recognize both a non-profit cultural organization and an artist that demonstrate exemplary leadership in advancing equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility through and in the arts. Both awards come with a cash prize and acknowledgement during our April 10 Arts Award luncheon. Self-nominations are accepted. Deadline: January 31

Pop-Up Gallery Exhibition
Presented by Pelham Art Center
Pelham Art Center’s Teen Artist Council seeks artworks from artists of all ages for a pop-up gallery show to take place April 25-May 12.  The theme of this year’s exhibition is “Magic, Mythology and Mother Nature.” Multiple works may be submitted. Deadline: February 7

Calling All Artists: Writing the Walls 2024
Presented by Hudson Valley MOCA
Artwork from the Hudson Valley MOCA’s juried War exhibition will be the inspiration for a selection of performances on stage – the annual Writing the Walls event at Studio Theater in Exile @Hudson Valley MOCA. War can be external and internal, social or domestic, political or personal. This call for submissions asks poets, writers, choreographers, musicians and playwrights to address this topic using the images in the exhibition. Behind each performance will be projections of artwork that inspired it. Deadline: February 20

Submissions for the Spring Issue of New Croton Review
Presented by Croton Council on the Arts
Submissions of unpublished poetry, short fiction, nonfiction, artwork and photography are open for consideration for publication in the Spring 2024 Issue of New Croton Review. There are no geographical or age limitations for submissions and the artist retains copyrights of the work. Deadline: March 16
