Westchester Oratorio Society, Benjamin Niemczyk, Conductor, returns for its 24th season on Saturday evening, November 20, 2021 with a performance entitled, “The Brothers Haydn,” featuring Michael Haydn’s “Requiem” and Franz Joseph Haydn’s “Lord Nelson Mass” with Audrey Fernandez-Fraser, Soprano, Christine Browne-Munz, Alto, Vrushabh Doshi, Tenor, Joseph Parrish, Bass and the Society’s professional orchestra at the Presbyterian Church of Mount Kisco.
Mr. Niemczyk who is beginning his 15th season as artistic director acknowledged the difficulties that the organization faced over the past year, but said he was very much looking forward to live concerts and sharing beautiful music with local audiences while providing performance opportunities for the many talented young professional musicians the group works with. He thanked the Westchester Community Foundation, a division of The New York Community Trust, for making the performance possible with a generous grant. All attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination prior to entry and to wear a mask.
“The Brothers Haydn” begins at 7:30 PM. Presbyterian Church of Mount Kisco is located at 605 Millwood Road, Mount Kisco, NY.
