Westchester Choral Society Continues To Sing

Due to the ongoing pandemic, Westchester Choral Society continues virtual rehearsals through mid-December under the expert guidance of the esteemed Music Director Frank Nemhauser and Associate Music Director David Baranowski.

The chorus continues to rehearse Brahms’ melodious Neue Liebeslieder Waltzes.

Rehearsals are held every Tuesday from 7:00 P.M. to 9:30 P.M. The last Tuesday of the month is reserved for guest speakers, followed by a lesson in musicianship. Members are learning the correct pronunciation of the German text and the proper rhythm, and are also given some time to socialize.

Since its inaugural season in 1942, the Westchester Choral Society is the longest continuously performing chorus in Westchester County. Its mission is to enrich the cultural life of Westchester and beyond by bringing beautiful and inspiring music to its  audiences. WCS hopes that this will soon again be possible.
