“The Motherlode: Celebrating Gems of Westchester History”

Tutti Bravi Productions and the New Rochelle Council on the Arts present The Mother Lode: Celebrating Gems in Westchester History on Sunday, Nov. 21st at 3 pm at the New Rochelle Public Library’s Ossie Davis Theatre.
Four Westchester writers explore and extol some of the county’s most celebrated landmarks and people associated with them, as well as little-known stories about these hidden gems in our midst.
Featuring the stories of Washington Irving & Sunnyside; Theoni V. Aldredge, costume designer; Madam C.J. Walker & Villa Lewaro; Woody Woodpecker & Walter Lantz; Anna Gould & Lyndhurst
Written by Jeffrey Fuerst, Maureen Kelly, Meghan P. Nolan, and Jennifer O’Grady. Performed by Jeffrey Fuerst, Meghan Nolan, Sharon Shahar, Sharon Spenser, and Jeffrey Spitzer. Produced & Directed by Billie Tucker.

The New Rochelle Council on the Arts mission is to stimulate and encourage the study and presentation of the performing and fine arts and the public\’s interest and participation therein. It has been exemplified by our sponsorship of a vast number of exhibitions, theatrical productions, dance recitals, film screenings, lectures, and concert series. To create opportunities for the public to encounter and explore art and increase access to the arts in New Rochelle.
